

If they instantly changed the colour, rather than painting it in, they probably changed to the Bucket fill tool (shortcut key G in FireAlpaca) and bucket filled the selected area using the currently selected colour, exactly the same in FireAlpaca.

If your linework has no gaps, the easiest way is to use the Magic Wand tool (shortcut key W) and click in an outlined area. The blue area is a selection area in programs like Paint Tool Sai, the colour is an indication showing which areas is selected.įireAlpaca reverses this, it shows the selected area as clear and puts a blue-purple colour over non-selected areas (personally, I think this is better, particularly if you want to add paint strokes to the selected area without your paint going outside the selected area, as you can see your paint strokes properly).
